Vital Sign Diagnosics

The sections below are the different tools used my the micromed system to check, monitor, update and send vital sign disgnosic data to your physician in real time. Each section should only be used under the direction of a physician.

Blood Pressure page

This service is for tracking blood pressure levels. Attach the blood pressure monitor per the machines instructions, load your usb or bluetooth device and the device records the reading and stores it in the database. Now the data is ready to be sent to your physician.

Tip: Use this area when you are ready to record your blood pressure.

Glucose page

The glucose section is for those patients that have diabetes. They have to check there sugar levels and A1c levels on a regular bases. Usually they have to prick a finger and put a drop of blood on a strip and insert it into a device to read the levels. Here the same is true but they have to insert the usb oe bluetooth device first so that the system can storage and send the data to the physican.

Tip: Use this area as you would your regular gloucose device.

Pro Time page

This section is where the pro-time meter is used to check the blood levels of some one taking a blood thinner medication such as cummadin or warfin. These levels have to be checked by a physician on a regular to prevent unexpected bleeding and dangerous brucing.

Tip: Use this area only as directed by your doctor.

EKG page

The EKG section is one of the most important measurements that this system uses. The user is instructed to connect the leads to their bodies by a diagram on the generated by the micromed system.

If the leads are attached in error an alert sounds and you can not procede until the lead connection is corrected. After the leads are properly installed the system measures your EKG reading. That data is send to your doctor for review.

When you see your doctor at the next visit he can go through the readings that have been storaged and he should have a good plan for helping your condition.

Holter Monitor page

This sectionis used only as directed by physician. People who use this section have a pacemaker and use this section to monitor the condition of the equipment and the level of their heart rate. This data is very inportant to track and maintain. This system can also be used to tell when the battery is running low and for recalibating the device.

The system shows the user how to connect the leads and if their is an error with any connection an alert will sound and you can't continue until the leads are correctly in place.

This section is restricted to use only as directed by physician.

Doctor Notes

This section is the Doctors notes section. In this section you can write your doctor and describe what you are feeling and update him on your health in your own words. This is also the section that the doctor will use to change any dosage or medication or shedule any appointments with you. Also in this section you have the option of skpe or face to face communication with your doctor using web cams.

You should pay close attention to this section incase your doctor has a messgae for you about the data you have sent over to him.
